J72 visiting Midland Railway Centre, Butterly

The J72 left the North Yorkshire Moors Railway on Thursday 11th August for a visit to the Midland Railway Centre at Butterly, near Ripley, Derbyshire.

The locomotive made some trial rins on Friday 12th August and was subsequently attached to a service train.

Details of how to get to the Midland Railway Centre can be found on their web site.

The J72 is expected to by in operation at Butterly on 13th and 14th August, the 18th and 24th September, and 1st and 2nd of October.
