Following a short notice request, via the NYMR, from the Mid Norfolk Railway if a locomotive could be made available to for their Gala this weekend (28/29/30 June) in the last minute absence of their planned star attractions, we have agreed with the NYMR to send the T2 to Norfolk, where it will be running between Dereham and Wymondham. It will be moving from Pickering on Wednesday and returning the following Wednesday. I have no details of the Gala timetable at the time of writing, but hopefully they will appear on the Railway's website in the next few days - although the move was only agreed this afternoon, the website is already promoting the T2's attendance, albeit as Q6 No 63395!
If you are in the area, then do please take the opportunity to go and see the T2 on its first ever visit to Norfolk, and most likely the only one it will make in its 1918 centenary livery.
