J72 returns to Wensleydale Railway


On Tuesday 9th April, a low loader came to Hopetown at about 4 p.m. to transfer the J72 to Leeming Bar.

On Wednesday 10th April it was  off loaded on the Wensleydale Railway. It will undergo a steam test and trial run on Friday 12th before entering service on Saturday 13th hauling the first passenger service over the recently repaired landslip at Akebar.
