Unfortunately we only managed one day (Saturday) on the K1 last week as Angie tested positive for Covid on Tuesday evening. While I have consistently tested negative with lateral flow I wanted a negative PCR before mixing with anyone else. I got the result on Friday so Steve Gibson, Rolly Bingham and I were able to work on the loco on Saturday.
Other than a row of 11 tubes immediately below the flues all of the small tubes have now been removed, half a dozen of which put up a bit of a fight but gave up before we did.
We also removed one flue which came out easily and did some checks on the fitting of the tyres.
