A working party at New Bridge on Saturday helped unload the locomotive, partially examine, and refilled the boiler. The locomotive requires an NYMR acceptance examination before we can return to Grosmont.

Unfortunately, the subsequent inspection found that a few repairs were necessary.  Consequently the locomotive is unlikely to be participating in the Spring Gala at the weekend.
