J72 re-wheeled

After 3 months work on the axleboxes and motion the J72 has been re-wheeled.

End of the day, back on the wheels again and jacks cleared away - Colin Smith

By the end of the day Steve, Harry and the boys had 4 springs on.

After the wheels have been rolled underneath, RSS staff slowly lower the frames - Fred Ramshaw

Peter Shields, Paul Mason and Allan Wilson watch to ensure that axleboxes engage properly with horns - Fred Ramshaw

At the other side, RSS staff adjust the block pile whilst Steve Gibson, Roy Marshall, John Graham and Steve Johnson watch the axleboxes - Fred Ramshaw

The workshop now feels far less cramped. All benches have been moved back to their usual positions.

Tuesday saw another productive day with the remaining springs attached and a start made on the reassembly of the motion.
