We made reasonable progress. The trailing wheelset and associated components are now refitted, we continued with honing the RH valve liners, refitted the LH piston and refitted the sample element we had removed to check for condition (found to be satisfactory).
Over the last two weeks West Coast have completed the machining and seal welding of the safety valve and whistle bosses. The manifold boss has also been machined and all safety valve, whistle and manifold studs replaced.
